Hard to believe this groundbreaking film is shy of 20 a year, rotating until you all who come, consider it as first his effect on cinema made. With a budget of nearly $1.5 million reservoir dogs launched one of this generation most filmmakers praised careers - Tarantino's pulp fiction, Jackie Brown, kill Bill series all winners inglorious Basterds, and his work supporting and collaborating with filmmakers such as Robert Rodriguez and Chan-wook Park resulted in more ways to experience great independent cinemas by visionary artist. Often but reservoir dogs was imitated never on improved animal unlike anyone had ever seen: a bit mean streets, some John Woo, but dialogue and a disregard for the narrative chronology felt new and refreshing with a brand, and that would eventually land an Oscar for the best original screenplay for his follow-up, 1994's Tarantino pulp fiction.
At times, violent, dramatic and pitch-black hilarious, reservoir dogs is a must for lovers of cinema, and especially the known source of inspiration for many independent filmmakers who saw would think it what could be done with the right team, the right vision, and less money than you as a shining example.
